Cookie consent notice
Protecting your privacy is crucial for our business, and we're committed to being a responsible, trustworthy custodian of our personal information. For this reason, we've added cookie consent to the Studio.
We're asking for cookie consent mainly for two tools: FullStory and UserGuiding.
FullStory allows us to understand how you’re using the Studio. We don't gather personal information. We only collect usage information to understand how to improve our product and deliver the best user experience.
UserGuiding allows us to create in-app notifications about the latest releases, create tutorials on using those features, and help onboard new users. We don't gather personal information, and it's only to deliver information about the Studio to you.
Cookie settings are of two types:
Strictly necessary: Enables UserGuiding, but FullStory stays turned off.
Performance: Enables both UserGuiding and FullStory.
To change your cookie settings, reactivate the cookie consent banner by clearing the cookies from your browser settings. Then, select your preference using the cookie consent banner.
You can find our privacy notice for the Studio below.

This website partly uses so-called cookies and related technologies (for example, scripts). Cookies don't cause any damage to your computer and don't contain viruses. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and saved by your browser, for example, to "remember" information about you, such as your language settings or login information. These cookies are sometimes set by us and are referred to as first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies, which come from a different domain than the one of the website you're visiting.
For technical reasons, we process a limited amount of data (so-called connection data) each time you access our website. This data is technically necessary to establish and execute a connection between your terminal device and our servers. This data is processed in the main memory of the web server for the duration of the connection:
The following data or data categories are collected:

The IP address, timestamp, HTTP error code, referer, and user agent are automatically logged when our websites are accessed to ensure the functionality and protection of our websites. Furthermore, the logs serve to optimize the website.
The processing is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. A legitimate interests assessment was carried out, and came to the conclusion that the processings are necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests and that these outweigh your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms which require the protection of personal data.
Additional analysis tools from third-party providers are integrated into our website. These are not technically necessary for the operation of the website but serve, for example, to record the behavior of the user, to provide advertising tailored to this, or to enable an analysis of the use of our website (FullStory and UserGuiding).
These services become active only after you have explicitly given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR using the Consent Banner. These services include FullStory and UserGuiding.
FullStory will be used to understand how you interact with our features and how we can improve our product.
UserGuiding will allow us to notify you about new releases, highlight how to use new features, and to get feedback on our product.
The following data or data categories are collected:
IP address, Source port of the calling device or a gateway (such as firewall or proxy), Timestamp (date and time) of the retrieval, Amount of data transferred, Message whether the retrieval was successful (using HTTP error code), Message why a retrieval failed, if applicable (using HTTP error code), Referer (web page from which calls were made to our main page or sub-pages), User agent (type of browser you use to access our website and its version), Display screen width and height, Language settings of your browser.

Cookie settings are of two types:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential to enable you to use the Studio and its features and provide you with certain functionality. For example, to show you an in-app notification about a new feature once. The types of data collected by these required cookies include session identifiers, IP addresses, and security tokens. This allows us to provide you with specific information about how to best use the Studio and inform you about the latest updates. With this, UserGuiding will be active, but FullStory won't be active.
Note, that UserGuiding doesn't actually add any cookies to your browser.
Performance cookies
We might use performance cookies to analyze your use of commercetools Frontend Studio and monitor performance. This allows us to provide a high-quality experience by easily identifying and fixing any issues that arise. For example, we might use performance cookies to keep track of which pages are most popular, where a feature could be improved, and to determine why some pages are receiving error messages. The information collected by these cookies isn't associated with the personal information you manually provide to us to log in to the Studio (such as name and email address). With this, both UserGuiding and FullStory will be active.

fs_uid | commercetools.com | 9 months | First party | Performance | The fs_uid cookie can be thought of as the capture cookie. The same user may visit a site multiple times and may navigate to many pages within a single session. This cookie ensures that all captured session traffic is associated with one user. A session cannot be captured without this cookie and the users anonymized visit won't be logged. Set by FullStory within the commercetools Frontend Studio. |
